2 mos postop and 50 pounds down!

I am down 50 pounds and am 2 mos out. I feel fantastic! I only get sick if I eat too fast or too much. I haven't puked yet! (Knocking on wood here.) Feeling great!

So far, this has been an exciting ride! I have done so well with my surgery! I have a 4-inch incision (which the surgeon commented was the smallest incision he has ever done). When I went in for my postop on Friday, he told me that I could be the "poster child" for surgery. I feel fantastic. Yesterday I started my regular exercise regime. My wonderful husband walked with me. It felt so good just to be walking hand in hand with him, walking toward a new, healthy me. He has been so amazing through all of this, even though he wasn't really on board, but left the decision up to me.
I have yet to regret my decision. I am a happier person these days, even my kids notice!

I am 1 week postop. I have lost almost 14 pounds. Today I feel wonderful! Starting back to work. No regrets!

Well, the big day will finally be here on Monday. Due to the weekend and everything that I have to get accomplished before Monday, I will probably not be checking again until after my surgery. Tonight we are going to the grocery store and the nutrition store to get everything that I am going to need for after my surgery. I would appreciate your prayers for me as I take the next step to my long and healthy life!
Also, my dear hubby is gonna need prayer too, living without me for a few days is probably going to be harder for him than my surgery is for me! Thanks again to you all for your wonderful support!

I have 4 days left before surgery. I am starting to get that "butterfly" feeling in my stomach. I think it is more excitement than nerves!
