I am 33 years old and am currently on day 2 of my liquid/pre-op diet.  I will be on this diet for 7 days total days and will be having VSG surgery on Tuesday, June 18th, 2013. 

I have a BMI of 51.6 and my overall goal is to be a healthy weight.  I have been overweight my entire life.  I was an only child until I was 4 so I got to have everything I wanted and unfortunately that meant all the food I wanted!  Anything and everything!  So I think that is where my eating habits started.  I remember us eating a Pizza Hut one time..I think I was like 6-7.  I saw a few pieces of pizza left and I told everyone, "You're not eating that anymore right?  ...the rest is mine!"  LOL  I was soooo bad! 

I was a chunk growing up until I was 16.  I got my first job and worked at the 50 off store from 9am-9pm!  Making 4.25 an hour and living the life!  I loved to work and cashing my lil' ole checks!   They closed the store and reopened under another name so that required moving opening and unloading boxes...this is when I started losing weight.  That with price checks that required me to run from one end of the store to the other...I am not sure how much I weighed but I went from being a size 18 to a size 13.   I got a boyfriend went through a breakup later that summer...so I dropped down to a size 9 weighing 158...

So for now that is my goal...

I am married and have 2 kids.  I work from home for a medical software company working on a helpdesk and am a licensed nail tech so I do that part time.

I hope I can get through this...I pray for a smooth and fast recovery!
