   I thank God for a very good surgeon, Dr. Schauer.  i wanted something else, but I got what God wanted for me. the lap band with plication.  I am doing so, so good, I am back doing  my water workout to get  much of my body tighten up as much as I can.  I am also, strenghtening my body and my legs, as much as I can.  I am going to walk again without the wheelchair or the walker.  That's my goal.
 I pray, that all ou that are getting the surgeries or have had your sugery, that all goes well and your doctor will give you the best for you, not just what you want..   
  And, hopefully next month, I will be getting married to the love of  my life, David.

TOMORROW IS MY PRE-OP  DAY....I AM EXCITED, BECAUSE IT GETS TO BE REAL CLOSE.  ONLYONE DAY SPERATES ME FROM MY SURGERY DAY.  THINGS ARE ABOUT TO CHANGE FOR ME AND i AM SO, SO HAPPY.  THERE ARE THINGS THAT I WANTED TO DO BUT COULD NOT, NOW NEW DOORS  WILL BE OPEN FOR ME.

THEM SHAKES, THEM SHAKES, I WAS TIRED OF DRINKING THEM SHAKES.  BUT, THEY WERE NOT NASTY.  THE TRUTH THEY TASTE LIKE A CHOCOLATE MILKSHAKE.  BUT, I ALWAYS WAS SATISFIED AND NEVER FELT HUNGRY FOR FOOD.

I HAVE HAD UP DAYS AND DOWN DAYS, BUT THOSE DAYS HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH MY SURGERY.  JUST ME YOU KNOW SOME DAYS YOU JUST HAVE CRYING DAYS, WHERE EVERYTHING BOTHERS YOU.  SOMEONE MIGHT SAY THE WRONG THING AND HURT YOUR FEELINGS ( ETC.  WHATEVER IT MIGHT BE ).

I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT MY SURGERY, AND I WILL BE COMING OUT OF THAT OPERATING ROOM DOING GOOD.  Y FAITH KEEPS ME AND A GOOD DOCTOR, WHO CARES ABOUT HIS PATIENTS.  WHO MAKES SURE THAT ALL THE RIGHT THINGS ARE DONE, BEFORE HAND AND RIGHT THEN.

TO ALL MY FELLOW FRIENDS OR PEOPLE THAT I HAVE NOT MET, THAT ARE ALSO HAVING SURGERY ON THE 30TH OF THIS MONTH.  I SAY GOD'S SPEED AND I PRAY A SUCCESSFUL SURGERY, TAKE GOD AND THE ANGELS WITH YOU TO WATCH OVER YOU.   GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND ALL THE PEOPLE ON OBESITY.COM. THOSE WHO HAVE ALREADY GONE THROUGH IT ALREADY, I NOW WISH YOU GREAT SUCCESS AND A SPEEDY RECOVER IN GETTING BETTER.  MAKE SURE THAT WE REMEMBER WHY WE TOOK THIS JOURNEY AND REMEMBER TO TELL YOUR SELF, "THAT I WILL NEVER GO BACK THAT WAY AGAIN EVER"  BE BLESSED AND BE ENCOURAGED...MUCH LOVE......

  I am havng a good day.  I woke up today in a very happy mood.  My surgery is getting closer and closer. i had a protein drink that was put in the freezer and it was partly frozen and it was so much better to drink. Well my man can't make it because of his job, but he will be here after.  I am starting to have hanging skin already and I haven't even had my surgery.
My advice is to take your own journey, and tell your own experience to others. You never experience all the same stories.  Try to be helpful to others, make their journey not to be a sad or painful journey.  Not that you will not experince pain.
For me it is the experience even before I go to surgery, of joy  of knowing the changes in my body.  The new healthier me.   My prayer is to stay a healthier eater.  Don't want to ever gain the weight back after going through this.   A new me and a new life.......................much love

 It been ok, just hate drinking the protein drinks sometimes, even though they do taste like a chocalate milkshake. Just the same, you do get tired of drinking them.  but, whatever it takes to get where I need to do, I will do it.
next week,  on Tuesday I will be going for all my testing and Thursday is my surgery day.
I am so excited, my family will be there with me.  My man couldn't come, but he will be coming after the surgery to spend time with me ( work).
I just became a grandmother again, it was a healthy  boy 5 pds and i dont know how many ounces.
So, much joy going on in my life right now.

 I am now in my process of getting clean on the inside for my surgery.  I would rather just drink water or the drink to get ready, but you know, that we must have protein, good ole protein.  Don't ou just love them, mmm  mmmm.

The closer that my surgery gets, the more excited I am.  Because a new and healthier me is on the way.  I am not worried, because i am in the hands of the Lord.  I know that everything is going to be well.

Keep up all the good work everyone,  yeild to the process and embrace it, know that everything if gong to be well, trust your physican, if you can , but most of all trust God.

        I have been waiting on the date for y surgery, thank God I got my date today.  I literally screamed when I  was  told the date is to be 6-30-2011.  I a so, so, so, excited to take  the beginning of  my  new journey to a new life.God is good and i will not be taking this journey alone.  i have met a really, really nice man, who says that he loves me and wants to marry me.  He wants to be with me when I have my surgery.  I have tears of joy in my heart.
     I still have things that I want to accomplish and with my new life I will be able to do it.  One is to be able to walk again without a wheelchair.  I told my pt worker that i wanted to be able to run when I am finished. The weight loss will help e to achieve.   I want to thank all y new friends for all thier prayers and well wishes.  I have not tried to ignore you, I have been going back and forth to Cleveland , Ohio where I am going to have my surgery.  Also, I go to the water to do my workouts.  Before I started at the Cleveland Clinic my highest weight was 535 lbs.  when I got to Cleveland and got weighed i was weighing 512lbs.  I a now weighing 460lbs  While I a getting for the surgery, I hope to drop ore weight.
     The people that dealt with me at the Clinic were very nice to me and very helpful, and even the doctors to ensure that i had a healhty surgrery.  My surgeon is very nice.  my nutritionist  Lauren Sullivan, was the best, she is the one who helped me and encourage me the most.  to know that  could lose the weight.  she told me that I was not eating enough.  When i ate what she told m i started losing the weight. i want to thank her for helping me to do the right things.
       At the end, i will be able to wear a wedding gown and sit in one plane seat to go on my honeyoon.

  I WENT  TO THE NUTRISTIST ON LAT TUESDAY.  I LOST ANOTHER 8 PDS, I AM STILL PREPING FOR MY SURGERY.  I STARTED OUT WEIGHING 535, I AM NOW 480. THATS A 55 PD LOSS.  HOPEFULLY  M Y SURGERY MAY BE COMING UP SOON.  I AM HOPING TO START A NEW PAGE IN MY JOURNEY.
