Thank you to all for posting your supportive comments. I can hardly believe this web site and all the wonderful interactions that I have already had with so many people. Tomorrow is the day that I head down to the cities from the North Shore of Lake Superior. I will be staying with my youngest son and his wife. Monday is coming quickly and I must go and pack for my hospital stay (which will hopefully be very short). I have read so many of your profiles and am so inspired by the success of so many of you. Thank you so much. I intend to post more information on my profile after the surgery. Linda

Good luck on your upcoming surgery! Remember: no one ever said it would easy; they said it would POSSIBLE! Remember to keep us posted on your progress and to post in your Profile -- it's great for new comers to see what all of our journeys looked like. Give yourself plenty of time to heal -- take things slowly. Follow your doctor's advice -- he/she's been through this before. Everyone is different; don't compare yourself to others.
