"Dr. Vaughn was friendly and appeared to care very much about the work he does. Throughout the entire consult I only felt more at ease with the idea of getting the open roux en y. Office staff were all very kind and helpful. There wasn't anything that I didn't like about him. He is very professional and is very confident in the work he does. He explained everything very thoroughly and in terms that I could understand. He didn't sugarcoat anything about the risks of surgery either. Aftercare is very important at BTC and is suggested for the rest of your life. After care is 2wk, 6wk, 3month, 1 yr. from surgery and every year there after. blood work is done every quarter at your local hospital and results sent to BTC (i,m not sure how long this goes on for) there is also an 800 # that you can call anytime and ask anything. I thought that to be quite comforting as well. So far Dr. Vaughn would get a 10 on a scale of 1-10. Dr. vaughn has wonderful surgical competence and bedside manner. "
