Had surgery Monday morning, came home Wednesday afternoon, doctor said that all went well, not as much scar tissue from previous VBG. Just dealing with the crazy burning sensation that is making me crazy.

frustrated - insurance denial

I got a denial letter from insurance, stating that a revision is not medically necessary if I vomit because I over eat. I had no earthly idea where they got that impression, so I called my doctor office. It appears that the psych that did my evaluation twisted a conversation that we had during the session. The psych documented that I vomit because I have found a way to still over eat around my previous VBG surgery. THAT IS NOT WHAT I SAID!!! I said, that because my VBG is so restrictive that I can not eat what I am supposed to be able to, and so instead I eat things that are not ideally nutritionally beneficial. I never stated that I vomit because I over eat...
I filed an appeal and wrote a letter to the insurance company stating the conversation that really took place during the psych eval, but they immediately denied it (within hours of receiving it by fax). so my doctor office sent me to another psych to do another evaluation, and we are waiting for her reports so that we can file a NEW claim.
I am so ready to get this moving, I have already done my pre-op nutrion classes. All vitamins have been bought. I am just waiting, and waiting and waiting.... this Friday is my baby girl's 1st birthday. So much is on my mind, I am emotionally exhausted.
