Shock I have sleep apnea
Jun 13, 2008
Well to my suprise I have sleep apnea, shocking as I have sooooo much energy. I do have to confess though acouple hours after the test and wearing the mask all night I actually felt more refreshed. Well as of today I am at 203. I am still waiting to be seen by my surgeon. Gosh I would love to be off a couple of weeks during the summer. For those of you who don't know anything about South West Washingting....it has been a long winter and rainey spring. I went on a camping trip and ate any and everything I wanted....gained 5 unhealth lbs. You know what for the first time I actually felt kind of sick after eating that junk. I have began the protein drinking and actually like it. I have replaced my breakfast meal with the drink, it's easy to drink while driving to work. My hardest thing to begin is the excercising and I don't know why as I used to love it. Thank you to my new found OBESITYHELP.COM FRIENDS.
JUST BEGINNING NED ADVICE AND SUPPORT
Apr 03, 2008
I am just beginning the process, I am 5'4 and 223 . I have decided to have gbp to not only loose the weight to feel better; but, to help my husband who is also in the process. He is 5'9 and about 283 and diabetic, high bp, sleep apnea. We are going to be hopefully doing this with just months of each other. I am fortunate to be double covered insurance and due to our differant insurance companies we cannot have the same Dr. nor Hospital. I find myself reading everything about the process and am trying to get as much done prior to my first Dr.'s appt. Went to my first orientation last night and it was great! A nice small group and helpful staff. My only concern right now is that medical wise I have hypertension, depression and gerd. I am hoping this is enought for my Providence insurance. I also have a letter of recommendation from my primary physician and chart notes regarding my gerd from my ent. Dr. Any advise from you pros?
