Hi Julia, I am a pre-op and have not been through the surgery yet. But I have researched and monitored this website sooooo much I feel I know a few things. One, I know it's hard right now and if I were you I would be feeling very down. Try if you can to think of the big picture. This too will pass, they will get it open for you and you will be able to eat soon. Long term you will be looking good!!!! Our thoughts and prayers will be coming your way and you will feel them wrapped around you like a big hug getting you through this. Take care and I look forward to some good news soon! Kathy

Well, I spoke to Julia today and Julia has had her share of problems these past few weeks. She is once again in the hospital and going to have to have the opening expanded for the second time this week! She has not been able to hold down anything. I and Julia would really appreciate your prayers for her. She has really had it rough. Julia, I am sorry I am just getting to update, but I have been away from my computer. Know I am thinking about you and sending you many of hugs and prayers! Hurry HOME girl!!! I Love Ya!!!

Well, Julia's DH called me Friday night to give me an update on how she is doing. She is having trouble breathing due to her asthma and has also been loosing a lot of blood. They have not yet given her a blood transfusion, but think they may have to. She's had them cut back half on her morphine in order for her to stay more alert. Her JP drain has not been removed yet due to some blood still showing up in it. They are hoping to remove it by Sunday and Praying she is able to finally go home on Monday the 28th. Please keep Julia in your prayers. She is such the trooper and I cannot wait to be able to call and talk with her. Hurry home Julia, I am missing you!!! Sending many angels and prayers your way!!! I just wanted to post and let you all know that Julia's DH called me and said she went through surgery well!!! She was still a bit out of it, but said she was feeling fine. I hope to talk to her husband again today and get another report on her. When I do talk to them, I will post. Please send her lots of prayers and support :-) I'll talk to you soon Julia and I Love Ya Girl!!! Your Friend, Dee
