Tammy's surgery was on 15 Aug 06, and everything went well. She is being released today (17 Aug 06) since she is "doing great" as stated by her doctor. Now she will be on the tough road to recovery; however, she has support from her family and friends so I am confident she will reach her goal weight. We all know it will be hard, with a lot of changes to come, but it will all be worth it when she can put on that bathing suit and feel great when she goes on her cruise in January 2007. Most importantly, she will soon be able to trash any medications she has needed due to the problems you inherit when you gain weight. Everything is diet and exercise!!! We all know that all too well - easier said than done. She will keep you posted on her progress.

Congratulations and best wishes. My best advice is just follow the rules. If you do what the surgeon suggests, all should be GREAT!! Hugs, Tammy G
