2 years out and down to 129 pounds!!!  Woohoo!!!

I am one month and a few days out and have already lost 27 pounds.  I am so proud of myself.  Just wish that when I looked in the mirror I didn't see the same chubby girl.  I know that this will go away with time but I am finally starting to feel good about myself.

I am finally home...feels much better to be here than at the hospital.  Glad to see my kids.  Have to admit the worst part about the surgery is the gas afterward...once it passes you feel better.

 As I cram in the last of my work hours over the next 2 days I cannot tell you how excited I am for Wednesday to come.   How am I got going to get through the next two days when my mind is already focused on losing weight.

 Received notice that I was finally approved...I am so excited.   Now the fun begins of having to schedule in all these tests in a 8 day period...I will get it done if it is the last thing I do today

 Just received an email from the doctor's office that surgery is scheduled for December 28 pending approval from insurance with my pre op labs and doctor appointment set for December 22...I hope this will be the best Christmas present ever!   Should know by this Thursday if we are fully approved.  

Today is the day marked on the calendar as the end to the beginning of my journey.  My paper work is all in order and the doctors office has penciled me in for December 28, 2011.  I am so excited!!!!!  I have joined Lifetime Fitness and for the first time in my life I actually look forward to exercising.   Keep your fingers crossed that insurance provides a quick and painless surgical approval...otherwise they are going to have one unhappy lawyer on their hands.  Doctor's office said i should know by next Friday and I will update my blog as soon as I know more.
