Losers Bench!

I made it to the losers bench!  Had surgery on November 17th.  When I had my final weigh in I weighed 268!  I made my goal plus some.  The surgery was routine and took 1 hour 45 minutes.  In recovery the first thing I remember was wanting to throw up a few times and was given drugs to stop that.  Had a great corner room with 2 windows even! lol  Small pleasures right?  The nursing staff was very nice although I dont remember much of the first day...sleepsleep and more sleep!  Second day the pain started.  They kept giving me pain meds but they only worked a short time.  I finally figured out I needed to go to the bathroom once I had a BM and passed a ton of gas the relief was amazing! (TMI maybe but it is what it is! lol)  I got to go home the 3rd day.  Long drive but it sure felt good to be in my home.  Got on the scale and I weighed 184!!16 POUNDS GAINED!?!  Are you kidding me that wasnt very nice.  They really do pump us full of fluids dont they?   Well once these come off the pounds off count down begins again.  I go in to the docs tomorrow for my one week check-up.  And to get this drain pulled out of my stomach.  Hopeffully I will have lost some more of the fluid weight and will see just a small loss. 
Feeling tired but good.  Trying really hard to get all my liqiud, food and vitamins in.  I cant believe what a challenge this is.  !/2 cup food max and I can barely eat it all most times.  Unreal!
