Before my Gastric Bypass in Jan. 2008, I was taking pills daily as preventitive medication for frequent Migranes. I was supposed to use a CPAP machine because I would stop breathing 89 times an hour, never wore it, and was diagnosed with Type II diabetes. Not to mention that were days that my feet hurt so bad that I almost couldn't walk. All this and I was only 36 years old, with no kids, but I did have the most loving and unbeleivable husband in the whole world. Since my surgery the migranes are gone, there is no need for the CPAP machine because the Sleep Apnea is gone (had another sleep study done), my hemoglobin A1C is normal again (no more diabetes), and my feet have not hurt me in months :) For me this surgery was the best thing that I have ever done in my life.
