St. Alexius NewStart

"I did have one day that was horrid where nursing care was concerned. They let my IV shut off and never came to turn it back on so my IV ended up closing up. They left me sitting in a chair for several hours and didn't come back to check on me. This was the morning after surgery. They were to have walked me at least 2 times and never did. The nurse coordinator, Kathy, has her name and number posted on the wall in the room and she was very good about taking care of the situation."

James Stephen Scott

"I absolutely loved Dr. Scott. In all honesty though I didn't really get to see or talk to him much but he did an excellent job. As with all doctors he is very busy but he does take the time to answer your questions and he takes his job very seriously. He knows what he's doing. I felt very comfortable in trusting him even though I had only talked with him a couple of times before my surgery. He came in before surgery to talk to me and I vaguely remember seeing him immediately after surgery to tell me everything went fine. My husband liked him as well since he was the one who actually talked to him after surgery. He answered any questions my husband had for him when he gave him the update after surgery. He addressed all risks of the surgery and even made it a point to tell me that this was not a "quick fix". This is just the tool we need to lose the weight. We still have to take our food and exercise seriously if we want to lose the weight."
