"My hospital stay was excellent. I felt like the only one in the hospital. My nurses were knowledgeable & very supportive. I never once felt like they looked down on me because of my size. They gave me great encouragemant. The program coodinator has a geninue concern for the people she helps. Always returned my phone calls promptly and never got upset with any of my craziness in trying to get everything together before my surgery. SHe is just as concerned & helpful since my surgery. She works very hard at making you inderstand the program & your new lifestyle. I havent had a chance to go to any support groups yet but am looking forward to it."
"Dr Huerta was & is great in his approach to his patients. He spends all of the time you need in answering questions. He made me feel very confident in my decision. His bedside manner is great. I never felt like just another patient . I felt like I really mattered. The staff in his office are always pleasant & treat me with great respect. I feel like they are my cheerleaders."
