The Beginning of a New Creation

Well, this is the start of a whole new life and I'm glad you will be joining me on this journey. My date for surgery is March 6, 2008 and I will be having a Vertical Gastric Sleeve done by Dr. Mark Pleatman of Bloomfield, Michigan. After much investigation, useless fights with insurance companies, and abundant prayers by close friends and family, I have been blessed to be on my way to a new life of better health. God has opened so many doors to allow this to happen, and I am so thankful for the past - all the diets, exercise and tears that have gotten to this place where life can begin again. It is my prayer that I will be able to help others who have gone through the same battle and who also need love and encouragement.
I'm sure this blog will consist of lots of information from the past, links to the present and hopefully posts and comments for a successful future. Please forgive me if I ramble, if I skip around a bunch, or if I'm too a little too personal. I know there will be lots of stories about my precious family - the good, the bad and the ugly, please bare with me as the journey begins to unfold. God has great things in store!!!
