One Year Ago.....

One year ago I was 260 pounds, just waking up from surgery, crying and asking myself "What the F*** did I just do?" :) That is pretty much the story of my life! But thankfully this time I am so happy I had VSG and I would do it again in a second. Boy, is it amazing to like what you see in the mirror, to be complimented, to have strangers tell you how gorgeous you are. People are nice, boys hit on you, and life is a whole lot more enjoyable. The energy I have is amazing and way beyond what I ever imagined. I'm so thankful I had the procedure and I thank the Heaven's above that I have not had any complications so far. I hope that my journey continues to go well and so does yours!
One year ago....
Excited but nervous

It's less than a month to my surgery (12/13/11) and I'm so nervous and excited. Sometimes I have thoughts that I should not do this but then I got a lot of feedback on here and it's like, "Kim, what's the alternative?" Be fat, stay on meds, die early, not enjoy my kids, the list goes on and on. So I'm going in 100%. Think about me that day and hope that I don't change my mind!! LOL.
