2 Years Post Op

Jun 30, 2010

Well its been two years now....what a ride. I am down almost 100 lbs and find it amazing. Though it has been challenging I am still glad I did it. I have really found out who my real friends are and why I married my husband. I think this surgery can be hard as far as dealing with how men treat you but you must try and remember who you are. I have lost many friends but gained many true friends. I would do it again tomorrow!

Post Op 6 Month Apt.

Feb 03, 2009

I had my six month post op apt and all my labs were good. The only problem is I have only lost 67 pounds and my doctor says I need to workout more. It has been so hard to work while trying to graduate...but now that I am GRADUATED... I will make time to workout  more. I have started using a food journal and am looking into Sparks People on-line. I need to keep myself in check...I dont want foods to take over my life again. I am  Rowing on the Rowing machine here too. Anywho...I hope all my friends are doing good!

Hey there friends! Life has been good to me, let me tell you . I am now almost 6 months out and feel great at 67 lbs lose. My health has improved so much. My Fatty Liver is just about gone, sleep apnea is way lower, my MS is not quite so bad, and most of all I feel so much better.

I have expieranced hairloss and some depression yet have been attending support groups. It just blows me away have different people treat me now that I am smaller. It's like my grandma and father actually are nice to me and say nice things about me. I just look at them like they are very sad people. I am the same person, shoot "dont give me that crap."

I am looking forward to loosing more weight even though my goal is 150lbs. So I really only  have 17 lbs until goal. I am still adjusting to my eating restrictions because I do dump from time to time. It does take awhile to get use to the difference in life. Love ya all!!!!

Life is really coming together after all these years of struggling. My mom (who has passed) is taking care of me from above. I hope all my friends out there are hanging in there!
