I have been wanting gastric bypass surgery for over a year now. I was originally denied by Medical Mutual of Ohio. I had to do a 6 month weightloss program and show a loss of some sort in order for them approve me. I started Weight Watchers in May and have already sent in my appeal ( which I done myself). It must have worked!!!!!!!!! I have been approved!!!!!!!! Got the phone call at 10:00 this morning 1/12/07. I have not posted on here before, but I just want everyone to know that I have been reading posts for over a year. Thanks to ALL of YOU!!!!!!!! You have held me together through this. And special thanks to my friend TAB, she got to have her surgery already and she looks great. She told me not to give up.....and I didn't. Thanks, Tab.
