I DID IT!!!! I had my surgery on Wednesday, April, 18th of 2007. I am 1 week and 2 days out. I had my 1 week appointment yesterday and lost 10 pounds. Everything is going better than I thought. I was so scared going into it. I thought I would be in so much pain for so long and come to find out...it is not that bad at all. It doesn't hurt having a wonderful surgeon like I found in Dr. McDevitt, but I haven't been taking any pain meds for days now. I am back to walking 2 miles every other day and life as normal. The only restrictions for now are lifting things and food. Even that isn't bad. So far, I have been able to keep everything down. I have not gotten sick at all from anything. Sometime I even forget I just had surgery. So far so good.
