"At the seminar, Dr. Barba struck me as engaging and knowledgeable about his field. Personal research showed that he had a great deal more experience than some of the others locally, that he solely focused on bariatric surgery, and that his educational background was very good. I felt confident that he was the best choice for surgeon. rnrnI didn't really \"see\" him but a couple of times before surgery and, I think, once or twice in the hospital after surgery. But he had an associate to see me every day in the hospital I think twice.rnrnSome are very focused on personality...but I wanted ability more than personality. I would say with Dr. Barba, I got that! He has a pleasant personality, not overly cocky or arrogant, and from where I am sitting (4 days post-op, he has a great deal of ability! rnrnI was informed every step of the way. I do not feel that there was anything they \"should have told me\". rnrnOverall, I would rate Dr. Barba very highly. He had a job to do and he did it beautifully. The rest is up to me!"
