I had my surgery on 5/14/2012. 
Unfortunately I got sick from the anesthesia....not fun to be puking when your stomach has been cut apart. My hospital stay was 2 days longer than normal but I was severly sick. I now know anesthesia makes me sick.
I have been home for 4 days now, on full liquids and I must say the hardest part is to keep sipping and remember to eat (protein) but my stomach does let me know when it is hungry. Now a word of advice to the newbies.....gas pain is a Mother******. I now know why babies scream! I will keep on posting as days go by...just trying to figure out all these new sensations....feelings....and well...not feeling.

So...went to my pre-op class today and learned everything that I needed to know for my surgery date. Still going through the emotional ups and downs.....but hoping it gets better.
