Plateau
Jan 23, 2009
Seems that I keep hitting little plataus. What is the average weight loss someone can expect per week or month? I think I expect it to be instantaneous! Right? UM wrong :)I am trying to make it a personal goal to drink more fluids, hard to get that 64 oz of h20 in a day, don't think I have done that yet. Oh and vitamins! who gets all those supplements in, i get my chewables, but the iron, not yet. I have done a b12 shot. and I need to do better with my calcium powder in my h20. Also have to work out, haven't been doing that other than walking at work.
But on a postive note, clothes!!! I love to shop now. I got a new bra and do the girls look GOOD. I can't wait for underwear shopping as I keep going down. Tomorrow we are going to a water park and I am wearing a suit that is 3 sizes smaller than my old one, and I am starting to wear tops from "regular" section of the store, granted they are a XXL, but they are not from the PLUS section, they are from the regular women's section, not the plus section. OH! and SHOES! I am wearing heels to work! and my feet don't hurt.
I am 20 pounds away from what I weighed when I got married (260), then I will be getting into territory that I have not weighed for years, I got to 230 as the lowest weight ever when I was on Jenny Craig/but that was actually when I had the flu, I think....and I got into a very tight size 18 pant and went out dancing with friends. ...so that will be another 50 pounds from now. We will see when that will be.
I really want to be below 200 :) I do have to remember, I am only 70 days out from surgery today and I am 36 pounds down from surgery day. I hope that is fairly "normal" . But have to remember that defined "normal" for me may be different than someone else.
Until next time, ME :)
