I have Sleep Apnea! Well I will at least need a CPAP because of my Hypoxia. It’s all new to me but I am 99% sure it will qualify as a co-morbidity and therefore allow for my approval from Aetna . I have just over one month left of my three month approval process.

I was rather worried because my weight history did not quite meet the insurance requirements on its own, in order to be approved with the weight history I had I needed at least one co-morbidity.

So when I found out I have a life threatening disease (sleep apnea) I literally jumped for joy! I know now that my case should get approved on the first request – no stress of appeals and delaying of what I know 100% in my heart is right and I am ready for!

I pray to have the surgery by the end of the year – but will put it in God’s hands and let him steer for a while!
