yay all done surgery!

I had surgery on Wednesday morning 10/7/09 I was out of surgery and in recovering by 10:30 with no problems. I did stay in recovery a little longer ( 2 hours) since they were working on another patient and I was happily sleeping.
By 12:30 I was in my room and by 1:30 up going to the bathroom. I walked a lot that night and everyone said I did really well. the Morphine kicked my butt so I asked not to use it. I came home Friday morning. Happy to see my kids and husband. The gas in my chest was the absolute worst! I'm so happy that worked its way out!
Today is Saturday and I feel wonderful. I'm only on percocet 1 tab every 6 - I don't like these pain meds so i'm trying to wean myself off!
I'm doing ok with my protein and fluids - just want to chew on something!!!!
Hope all is well with everyone - Gotta get caught up on all i missed!
