I have been working on having this surgery for years. I moved to Florida four years ago, and started the process. My insurance requires a six month medically supervised diet, which I did three times! I finally completed that in October 2006. Today, I met with the surgeon. My file is complete, and the office is submitting for insurance this week. They anticipate a surgery date of mid to late January 2007.
