Two Weeks Post Op Tomorrow!

Wow...I can't believe it's been two weeks. For the most part I am feeling very well. I tire easily but that seems to be improving more each day. Dr. Moore was AWESOME, he was gentle and easy going and the big plus....he is super skilled surgeon! Everyone from Bon Secours Surgical Weight Loss has been incredible. I would HIGHLY reccomend this program, they have truly designed it for optimal success.
Last Friday I was pretty depressed, I was missing my food friends, but I have since decided to face my food addiction head on and get control.
I had this surgery to change my life in a positive way and I am determined to make it work. I find the message boards on this sight extremely helpful!

Surgery Tomorrow...YIPPEE!!!!

Wow....the time has flown by. March 19th will be here tomorrow and my new life will begin. I have researched WLS for years but only made the commitment to have it in December 2006. From the first orientation meeting to surgery has only been three short months.
I have been surrounded by support and that has been a true blessing to me my husband, my mother and father, and friends at work have been truly WONDERFUL.. On Friday I got my hair and nails (hands and feet) done, and yesterday I went to church to receive a special anointing. I feel completely ready and at peace with this surgery.
OBH has been such an amazing help to me. I look forward to posting again only as a looser!

It's Time for a change 12-02-06

I have finally made the decision to have WLS spefically RNY Gastric bypass. I have selected a surgeon and will have an initial evaluation on Thursday.
I have been overweight for as long as I can remember. I am tired of being heavy and not very healthy. There are so many things that I would like to do as a thinner person. The most important thing....I want to live and model a healthy lifestyle for my son. He deserves a mother who is not killing herself with food.
I am going to keep a blog of my wls journey. Hopefully by this time next year I will be thinner, and healthier.
