Dog Days of Summer More Bearable Now
Aug 30, 2008
Hello... It has been miserably hot here, but I have kept my cool better this year. I am now down 125 pounds!!!!!! I cannot believe it. It is hard to see the difference, unless you look at "before" pictures. I have a sister that is great about sending me cheer e-mails that have a before picture posted next to a "now" picture, so I can really see a change. Nothing but smiles here!
Spring is here!

Hi everyone! I have now lost 94 pounds since last September and I feel like a million bucks! I have started yoga with my sister and I feel like could take over the world on any given day. I did experience some pretty scary hair loss (good news for all of you who have as well: mine has made its turnaround). Just like all the blogs say, it started to come back after about 2 months of hair loss. Take hair and nail vitamins, eat more protein, and try not to freak out. (Good luck with that last one; I was pretty shaken up by it.) I am still trying to decide how I will celebrate my 100 pound mark-- who knew that I would be discussing that after only 6 months! Good luck, guys...

Well I missed my revised goal by a pound... I was down 64 pounds by Christmas. I am loving the results of my surgery. For anyone considering it, I woud strongly advise extensive research but I have no complaints.

13 weeks post-op. I am down 62 pounds! I feel better than I did in my twenties. I have energy abounding and I feel like a million bucks... If I could bottle this feeling and give it to all my friends and family for Christmas I would. I wanted to be down 60 pounds by Christmas-- now it looks like I may shoot for 65!

I had the vertical sleeve on September 20. I am now 8 weeks post-op and 48 pounds down. Woo hoo! I feel better than I have in years, just being down that small amount. Here's to better days ahead!
