Kimberly, Congrat's on the 70 lbs and the 16'/18's, that is fantastic. We are now able to do things we only dreamed about and it is so amazing. Take care and keep the faith. God Bless.

Ok here's to the big loser. Hubby added photos for me and now I can say I'm 9 weeks out and 42 lbs down. Ron got the numbers wrong on the photos, god bless him. Feeling wonderful but feeling flabby. Started working on weights yesterday at the gym. Do 15-20 on treadmill, 10-15 on bike and than started the weights. I want my boobs back. LOL! Thanks to all of you and my supportive hubby. Hello to the WLS family. Guess it's time for me to update since I'm the victim here. LOL!!! Got home Friday after having surgery on Monday. Was scared but last I remember was telling me to move my arm so they could put another board under and than someone saying Kimberly wakeup your in recovery. And than feeling the bed moving around and than Ron talking to me. Thats about it. Till about 3pm on Monday. I do remember them trying to poke me again for another IV. I blew 2 by time I came out and my veins don't like needles. I look like road track. Black, Blue but mostly blue. I had a high fever 101 to 102 both nites and my heart rate was up. It really started scaring me too. I was burning up, but those ice packs they had were wonderful. The nurse even gave me one to come home with. On Tuesday he started stomach xray, chest, ekg, more blood work. And than on Wed I had to have more xrays and UGI again. (oh God that stuff they give you to drink postop is worse than pre-op) That was not fun. By Wed. afternoon temp was down and I was walking the hallways. Not very far but a little. It's been raining here for 3 days so no walking here. Just from blender to bathroom. Been making protein shakes and like them. If I drink 4 a day I get my 53-60 grms of protein in. Plus everytime I try something new. I'm yuk. I liked the lemon yogart. Had Ron go get me somemore, either it's the wrong kind. or it was lemon pie not lemon chiffon. I hate to find out. LOL!!! Then I tried making my mashed tators with my chicken broth, now that wasn't bad. Has anyone tried tofu. I know it's good in that chicken brother soup they make. Ron nows be by the time wk 3 is here, I've have a cookbook of liq recipes. LOL!! It was funny Ron mentioned the Blue Bunny yogart than my Mom said it. She just back from a 6 wk trip to mostly Texas (where she's from) and Tenn. I got on line found a store down the road from us, called and they only sell the ice cream. Mom said that cocanut cream pie (sugerfree of course) was to die for. Come out to California little Blue Bunny. Ok going now. Going to go walk a mile and run the block and make a roast. NOT! gonna go walk 3 to 4 houses away take a shower and veg in my chair. Ron has a honey do list today. Thanks all. Kim
