Well, it started out great, and over the last few years, it's gone down hill.  My Dr. retired 1 year post-op, and I didn't have anyone to follow up with. Within the last year, I started have problems, and in March of this year, I went and had a endoscopy done.  Only to find out that I've had a complete staple line disruption, not to mention the weight gain AGAIN!!  What a nightmare.  So the journey began.  I was referred to Dr. Eagon from St. Louis. Contacted his office in April and finally had my 1st Dr's appt. on August 15.  Talk about a long wait.  He told me that I needed a revision to fix my problem.  So this week I finally received word from the ins. that they have approved my surgery, and I have a surgery date if October 16.   Talk about short notice.   But  I am so ready!!
