Life is good bur lighter is better
I always was the chubby girl growing up and it did not change into adulthood. But I was witty and fun and very competitive so no one new that thoses extra pounds were very painful. So after making a life changing sequence of divorcing after 24 years of marriage (waited till last one graduated, moved, lost 80 lbs. built a house and dated some very nice gentlemen. Best thing I ever did.
Remarried such a great guy after 3 years and you know the story the weight came back on. So I decided enough of this unending struggle and decided to get a lap band. So wonderful that as I work in the medical profession my insurance COVERED the whole procedure and after jumping thru the hoops (WHAT A JOKE - hopefully the last time my weight will discriminate me- ) was banded on 2/26.
So a new chapter begins............:)
