I am happily married for 24 years and have 3 great kids, 20 181/2 and 14 They all are supporting my decision to have the surgery because they know how desperate I am to get this weight off. I am 47 years old 5'7" and my BMI is 54. I am so ready to go to cedar pointe and maybe not ride the roller coasters (I am probably way too chicken) but to ride some of the other rides, my kids are excited about going. My 20 year old daughter would love for me to go to New York City with her and stay right in time square and just go from show to show. I know I wouldn't be able to walk like she would want us to. My husband is overweight too but not as much as I am but maybe by losing all my weight it would get him motivated to lose(guys always seem to lose soooo much more easier than girls) and then we could get that harley davidson motorcycle we've always wanted and go riding with our friends. There is so much I would love to do but my weight holds me back from doing them. I have been on every diet imaginable and have bought every diet book available to mankind. For the past 15 years I have been slowly getting heavier and heavier and now being at the highest weight ever. I am hoping and praying that my insurance company will help me and get back the life I have been missing so far.
