6 Months
Sep 10, 2008
Boy how time flys! It has been 6 months since my revision surgery, I feel really good. I will get my blood work done later this month, but I think everything should be in good order. The only problems I have is I'm lactose intolorant. I don't do protein shakes or bars, I get all my protein from dense food like chicken, fish and beef. I eat about 6 times a day. I do not eat refined sugar of any kind, just fruit. I do eat carbs, whole grain bread and pasta in moderation. I am not on a diet, I am in no hurry to get to goal weight, I know it will happen. I have had stalls up and down all through my journey thus far and I'm ok with it. I'm still on the boards checking everyone's progress and still getting plenty of information about subjects that I relate to. I look forward to posting some before and after pictures soon....

It has been 14 weeks since my revision surgery. The first 2 months were pretty tough for me, I had a lot of pain and adjustments. I know some people have no pain at all, then there are the ones like me who have quite a bit of it. The OH board has been a god send for me, I have kept up with peoples stories and progress and though this it has helped me with this journey. I did something I have always wanted to do last week... started Yoga. The class is very light and works for me, I can keep up. The weight loss has been fine, I am trying not to concentrate on it too much (probably sounds strange I know...) maybe it is because I have been going through the journey for almost 3 years now, only this time my body is working right. The scales are now in the 100,s, I haven't experienced this for 25 years, its nice, I feel lighter on my feet.
