Like many have already posted...I have struggled with my weight since I was a child. Despite many attempts to get it under control, it has been a challenge that I would like to finally feel like I am winning! I have a very loving and supportive family, who are behind me 100% in how and what I decide to do. I have decided after 2 years of intense research, and lurking on this site, and the recommendation of my doctor, to have the VSG. After insurance derailed my plans I am now, after having to switch surgeon's mid-stream, working toward a laproscopic RNY with Dr. David Hall at Highland Bariatric Clinic in Lubbock, Texas.
