Kathryn WOW!your day is almost here! I know you are going through a whirlwind of emotions about now as the day draws nearer...... I can still remember them and I am here to tell you they are NORMAL.... so hang in there soon you will be on the losing side enjoying the positives of WLS. Hello Kathyrn - <b>Congratulations</b> on your upcoming surgery!   You'll find the changes that follow, nothing short of a miracle. My humble advice?  Walk as much as possible after surgery.  As your body begins to heal make sure to get in your protein, even if it means plugging your nose and chugging back the protein drinks in baby [pouch] gulps.  Vitamins need to be chopped, minced or crushed... whatever it takes to get them in daily, no exceptions, YOU are worth it.   Also, let's not forget your new best(est) friend, water.  It is SO important to get your minimum 64 oz in daily. One final thing, remember to <b>CELEBRATE</b> all the special moments along the way, big or small.  Too many people focus only on the number, ie. pounds lost.  There are so many "moments" to look forward to and embrace, don't let any of them slip by.   Enjoy your new healthier life because you've more then earned it!!   <i>"The key to happiness is dreams, the key to success is making those dreams come true"</i>  Hugs & smiles -

Kathryn, I have no answer to your question about the low supplemental insurance, but just wanted to let you know that I had Medicare. Medicare has paid well in my case. If your Dr. and hospital accept them, You should not have a problem. Wish you luck. May God bless Janice
