I'm 6 months out and feeling great. I've lost about 53 pounds since surgery. 94 pounds total since the beginning od my journey. Right now my goal is to reach that 100 pound weight loss mark.
I feel better than I have years. I have more energy and confidence. I love the new me!!!!

 I'm 1 month out and feeling GREAT! I haven't had any problems with food. Tonight I tried chicken with no problems. I'm down 18 pounds but have lost many more inches. My body is very different already. 
I am so happy. This was the best thing I could have ever done for myself.
Life is good. 

 I'm 4 days post-op from my RNY gastric bypass surgery. I came home last night. So glad to be home with my family.
Everyday is a little better than the day before. This is a journey of a life time. Can't wait to see what my new life will bring me.

Today is my surgery!!!
Unfortunately it's not until 3:10 this afternoon. I have to be there by 1:40. But that's like forever away. I'm going to do my best to keep myself busy this morning. The no eating or drinking is going to be rough but I'll make it. It'll all going to be so worth it in the end.
Today is the first day of my new life. 

 Today I had my pre-op endoscopy. That was too bad. Still feeling a little groggy. They did find that I have a hiatus hernia. But other than that everything went really well. I have my pre-op appointment with the surgeon on Thursday and a few more tests on Friday and then I'm in the home stretch. 
Tomorrow will be 1 week to surgery. I am still very excited. Everyone keeps asking me if I'm nervous and I'm not. I'm not nervous at all, I am just very ready for this. As ready as I can be. 

 I am getting so excited. I'm in the home stretch now. I have 10 more days. Holy Crap 10 days!!!! This week is full of pre-op appointments which will make the week go by pretty quickly. 
Everyday is another day closer to my new life. 

 This is just bad timing to catch a cold. I don't have time to feel run down and tired. Plus I have to be well so I can be fully cleared for surgery. 
I'm going to ignore the fact that all's I went to do is lay down and take a nap. I need to find the motivation to keep myself going. I'd hate to gain weight right before surgery. I'd kick my ass if that was to happen.

 I received a call from my insurance co. on Friday which at first my heart stopped and then it JUMPED. They were calling to tell me I was APPROVED for my surgery. I am so happy. It's only been a week since it was submitted. Now just counting the days.  

 I got a date!!!! February 16th!!  

 On Thursday I got my last clearance from my doctor. I have an appointment this Thursday coming with the surgeon to set a surgery date. I am so excited. I can not believe that in probably about a month's time I will be having the surgery that I have been working so hard for. 
I will be counting the days....
