"The one thing that upset me was when it came to my pain medication. I can remember saying right out of surgery was that i was in pain. I remember repeating it over and over and over and getting no respond. I was in constant pain and the staff had issues with dealing with that. Either they had to wait for a specific time to give me the medication, or they had to call my doctor for a new medication -- they weren't excited with my persistentness. All the staff was friendly and helpful but when it came to the pain i was in... not so helpful. The rest of my stay was pretty well. The only actual thing I didn't understand was why they kept trying to take my blood day after day and failing each time. I swear I was poked at least 12 times in my two and half day stay. After swearing loudly the last few times I literally told them to give up and that they were not allowed to keep poking me. Minus those two specific things, my stay was okay."

"Dr. Engstrand has been my doctor through out this for the last year and a half. He had a hard time remembering who I was each time I saw him but then again I didnt see him on a constant basis. Now the my surgery is done and over with I think I appreciate him more. "
