Weight loss surgery

Well I want to start off by saying that I am new to this forun & a nervous nelly about me having to have this surgery! I am a scardy cat! I am afraid because of the whole "nose tube" dilema, & being put under is enough to make anyone as nervous as they can be. I want to be healthy though & to feel better about myself. I am not going to live forever at the weight that I am. I am 29 & I weigh 278 pounds & climbing! I am however scheduled for surgery on Sept. 20th 2007.. just a few short days away. I am a firm believer in God, but my faith is down... & I fear that something will go wrong & I will leave behind my 3 wonderful children, & they need me, & I need them. They are another reason that I am wanting & reasdy for this surgery to happen. I want to enjoy their cildhood with them. So if anyone can give me ANY support, tips, or just to tell me what to expect & set it to me straight that would be GREATLY appreciated. ~Jen
