Renato Simon

"My first impression of Dr. Simon was that he was very nice and extremely thorough, and that did not change over time. His office staff is extremely friendly and very helpful with the one having had the surgery herself, which she is 5 years out now. He is a very serious doctor and if you are not 100% sure you want to have this surgery, than you probably should not. They are pretty thorough with their aftercare program. Dr Simon has a paper that he gives you with a list of every single risk or complication that can stem from the surgery, and he goes over every single one with you. He would get an overall rating of outstanding from me. His surgical competence and bedside manner are both great. One negative thing (not extremely horrible) that I would have to say is when I went back for my 3 month post-op visit and I asked him about the hair loss, he kinda laughed and told me that if it got to bad to buy a wig (I'm pretty sure he was kidding, but not sure). I didn't really care for that, but luckily I had already talked to his office staff and they said that he usually recommends Zinc."
