12/30/07 - 6 yrs post op - Things are still going OK, though I'm frustrated that I've gained some weight back, like a lot - 50 lbs!  I'm still under the 200 mark, and anyone that saw my before pics would think WOW, what a success, but look at my "real" after pics, now look at me.   It's a New Year & I see Dr. Alverdy for my annual follow up on 1/9 - hopefully he will kick my butt and get me back in gear.  I'm so much better off than before, don't get me wrong, still playing volleyball & took up golf this past summer (yes, walking the course!)... I would just like to get back down at least to 160, I'm uncomfortable right now.  Good luck to all of you in this journey - it is truly a gift from God.  Hugs, Julie
