This is how it all began............
I’m at the point in my life where I need to do something soon; I’m 35, married and three kids and am obese my BMI is 42 and weigh 283. I knew that I was overweight but until I step on the scale I didn’t “realize” how bad it was I thought that I’m tall I don’t look that fat, but I knew deep down I was. I feel that I’m very active with the kids but not as much at I should be. I’ve been overweight as far back as I can remember; I didn’t play sports or go participate in extra curricular activities. So here I am, getting ready to take the big step to the other side and my co worker Jody is going through this at the same time so I’ll have someone to go through this with and we have a surgery date of July 11, 2005 with Dr. Kelly in St. Paul.
