Two Months After Surgery
Oct 22, 2009
Well its two months after my surgery and Im feeling great!! I'm down about 74 pounds (including my pre-diet) I went back to work this week and everyone is being so nice and saying how good I look, especially in my new clothes...which leads me to...
I bought pants at Banana Republic....OMG and they fit!!!! I put a new pic on here with me at 327 (started over 400).
I'm dressing way over our required dress policy at work and love it.
Bread is my only enemy these past two months...No throwing up, just unwanted pressure from it...
I have been VERY lucky and hope others are having just as fun as I am.

Two weeks after surgery
Sep 02, 2009
Well It's been two weeks after surgery and I haven't written a damn thing on here so here it goes. As of today I have lost about 43 pounds, including my pre surgery diet they put me on. I am a very happy camper.
I had the surgery done at George Washington University Hospital in DC. Let me tell you a little about my experience. The doctors and medical staff are the best. My doctor, Dr. Viseri, is a younger guy who is very cool. He is even going on a mission trip to some third world country to perform surgeries on his vacation, so that tells you a little about the guy. From the morning I got there to when I left I was treated very well and with respect. It is a teaching hospital so I had a lot of student doctors coming into my room. I thought that was kinda cool. I felt like I was on ER...lol
Now, although the medical staff are the best....the administration part of the hospital lacks customer serivce big time. It took 3-4 weeks for this one employee to simply fax my final approval over to my insurance which led me to a delay in my surgery. You need to call everyday!! Don't trust anyone until you have a locked surgery date. But be nice to them, those people have your lives in your hand and can delay things if you are mean...lol
Anyway...My friends have been calling me wolverine lately cause I was up and at the gym in less than a week from major surgery. I have had almost no pain and eating has been great. I am not hungry all the time and cottage cheese has become my new best friend....lol
I started all this at 394....This morning I was 351....Awesome!!
