Hi Gordon, I'd say don't be nervous but, heck, I was nervous! Of course it was all for nothing (except I burned a few extra calories) because my surgery was flawless. In fact, I think the week before surgery is harder than the week after. Just remember to keep it positive, that includes keeping only positive people around you. I'm 8 months post op (down 105) and I'd do it again in a minute. I hope all your health and weight-loss dreams come true,

Best wishes for a speedy recovery my fellow Texan. I know you are looking forward to being a "big loser". God Bless. You will NEVER regret quiting smoking - I quit over 18 years ago ----now I can't even stand the smell. 8>)
