I haven't updated my profile for awhile, so here goes. I now have had 7 fills, and I have 7.85cc in my 10cc band. I went from a pre surgery BMI of 54 to a current BMI of 43....down 70 pounds. I know I'm a turtle, but slow is better than not at all as far as I'm concerned! I am very happy with my band and have had no complications at all. My only regret in this whole process is that I didn't do this sooner!! Some of my NSV are climbing steps without feeling like I'm going to die, fitting into the little desks made for skinny people in my daughter's high school, comfortably sitting in a restaurant booth, and buying clothes for the first time in years in a NORMAL store, not a plus size clothing store!!! 
4th Fill

I went in yesterday for my 4th fill. I had to have it done with x-ray. My first 3 fills were uneventful, but for some reason with the 4th one Dr. Jeff couldn't find my port. He said that, with weight loss, the port can shift positions or move as my stomach moves and shrinks. He had no problem getting it done with the x-ray. So....here's hoping for some additional restriction! My weight loss is going slow, but hey - it's more than I would have lost without the band!! I'm now down about 35 pounds (25 since my surgery on 3/19/07).
