I had gastric bypass on May 6, 2009 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Warren Michigan.  The day of the surgery i weighed 411 pounds.  I was very scared because i knew that if i didn't lose weight i was going to die.  i have a great husband and two wonderful children and an adorable puppy dog.  I want to live a long time.  I had a wonderful doctor named dr. Pesta who always has time to answer my questions and help me with anything i need .  I am happy to say as of today, August 26, 2009 i am down 100 pounds.  I still have a way to go but i am taking it one day at a time.
