Well Congratulations Jennifer, I am so glad to hear you had a healthy baby. That was a big concern to a lot of younger women in my support group, This surgery is new in our hospital so we dont have a lot of input so Thank You for sharing your precious gift with all of us,Aren't children wonderful !! I have 7 The ages are 18 to 30 . Thank goodness there is tubal ligation who knows how many I would have . Children are our gift from God hold them close and give Thanks.Bless you and you family :)

CONGRATULATIONS!!! You must be on cloud 9 or 10...LOL. I have 2 children (2and 4) and we want another one.......BUT I want to wait til I lose the weight and then ttc again. This is my hubby's BIGGEST concern (next to death) about having another child after all this. I am so happy u posted ur great news....please, if u could, email me and tell me a few pointers on pg after WLS. Thanks so much and again, CONGRATS!!!!

Well, it's been a while. On Oct. 2 at 12:19am I gave birth to a healthy 7lb.2.5oz. baby boy. He is just beautiful! My highest weight was 238lbs. and that was when I was retaining a lot of water. When I found out I was pregnant I weighed 212lbs. The day I went into labor I weighed 232lbs. Now 2 1/2 weeks after having the baby I weigh 202.5lbs. Most of my weight gain was from baby. I also breast-feed which burns 500 calories. We are both doing great. My daughters love their new little brother and my husband is very proud of his new son.

I am 7 months post-op and have lost 108lbs. I feel wonderful and look just as wonderful. I am full of confidence and energy.
