its been awhile since i actually posted something instead of just reading and absorbing info and i have to say waiting to hear back from the insurance company is the most annoying, stressful, & un-nerving thing ive been thru so far. it seems like im waiting for the world to stop or fall on my head ---whatever come first. on a brighter note ive done well staying off the sodas for the past two weeks and have stored crystal lite in every place possible to prevent it, some days are worse than others but im pushing thru this surgery is def the most important thing. i still have alot to learn but im proud of the progress :)

well where to start? facebook, twitter, & instagram junkie, whatever you want to call it ..... i love social media. it tends to keep me in touch with my family & friends, tell me the lastest jokes and humor me in my times of bordom...but even on these sites i never want to post pictures...why? because ive always been "the fat girl" for as long as i can possibly remember ive struggled with my weight & health. for years ive watched the world revolve around me while i in a sense ....stood still. well its a new day!! ive been researching wls for years now and even after watching my mother go thru the process and lose tons i still did nothing until about two weeks ago. after obtaining a refferal from my primary doctor i manged to get into see dr.givens and find out at 25 5'1 and 240 lbs i have a 42 bmi and am morbidly obese (now i dont know if i should laugh, cry or thank god for ...LOL) but its a start and a BEGINNING TO THE END. luckily, my insurance doesnt require a weight loss study & after my appointment the ONLY requirement i had to meet was my phych eval...agian luck was on my side and i managed to get that 3 days after intial appointment....NOW THE WAIT..... im hoping praying and wishing to hear back from the insurance before the 3 week time frame. i hope to meet plenty of support, friends, and tips & tricks here on my journey.... todays day 1 and no matter what im on my way..... :)
