SHE'S ON HER WAY HOME !!!.....She's doing great and told me that mostly, she feels good !!.....Thank you all for thinking about her ! Tina

It's Tina again....Jennifer's aunt called and said that Jennifer is now in her room....there was a delay in finding an empty room....Her aunt said that Jennifer was able to move from the streacher to the bed on her own and now is getting morphine (lucky girl). Everything is still looking very good.... I haven't been to the hospital because I felt it should just be her family now...Everybody has their own feelings on that and everyone is different...It's a operation and that is always tiring to a body and since she has a very large family and she is in pain, they're probably about all she can take right now.....but I can't wait to see her when she get's home....More later.

Hi Jennifer! I just wanted to send my well-wishes to you. I am 3 1/2 weeks post-op and Dr. Pesta was my surgeon too! I hope you have a 'speedy' recovery! When you get frustrated, just remember that you already did the hardest part! It's totally worth it! Best of Luck and I hope to see you at the support groups!

I am Jennifer's friend, Tina and she did me the honor of asking me to be her angel. I hope I'm posting this in the right place....I'll look at her profile too.....but, Jennifer went into surgery around noon and was out around 3pm centeral time today 10/20/05.....Her aunt called to say that Jennifer was doing well post-op. She was still in recovery and in a good amount of pain....but I guess they're loading her up on those happy shots......She hadn't been moved to her room yet and her aunt said she would call me later and give me her status then.....I am so happy everything went all right and just as happy for her starting her "new life".....She called it her re-birthday and I guess that's what it is. She has told me how thankful for the support everyone here has given her and I wanted to thank you for that too....It means alot to her and I think makes her feel better just being able to talk about it with others. I'll post again when I find out more but, so far, everything looks great.
