Final Day!

So today's my final day....my last day of my old life. I am two weeks away from surgery and tomorrow I start my pre-op diet. I feel strong and confident about handling the food choices that I will now have to make.
Seeing this light at the end of the tunnel is going to help guide me back to the person I was...although it's been so long that I don't remember her....what was she like? Was she outgoing and fun? Was she living her life?? As I've watched my life go by over the last twenty years, I am now realizing that it's time for me....what was I so scared of that I didn't take this journey sooner?
I am excited to see the me that I can become after surgery! I've already gathered a group of co-workers to sign up at the gym with me and you know how that goes....ACCOUNTABILITY!! A little push goes a long way.
Look out world....here I come!
