Jennifer, sorry I couldn't make it on Thursday to meet you in person. I got a flat tire so I could not make the trip. I saw Heidi came and visited you, that's great. Hello everyone! I visited with Jennifer today at BTC in Belvidere and she seems to be doing just fine! She said she had a rough morning with the pain, but it is now under control, and she is resting comfortably. She has walked the halls a couple of times so far and plans to walk even further tomorrow. She has her leak test tomorrow morning and cannot wait to get those ice chips and to finally have a drink of water! Congratulations Jennifer! You have made it to the losing side! You will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers! ~Heidi

Hey Jennifer! I've been watching for a post-op update and I haven't seen one. Hope I didn't miss it. Anyway, just wanted to let you know I am thinking of you and hoping that your surgery went great. Hope the pain isn't too awful and that you are home in another day or 2. Then you can join the ranks of the "LOOSERS", and just watch those pounds melt away. WoooHooo!

Jennifer, I am a graduate of Dr. Schlesinger's and you are in the BEST hands! I am praying for you and will be thinking about you all day! BTW, I am 18 months postop, down 138 pounds (12 pounds from the anorexic governmental standard), and went from wearing 26/28 to 8/10. I am living and loving life, and you will be too soon!!!

Jen, Today is the day before your surgery. I am really excited and nervous for you. I still remember the day I had surgery 3 months ago tomorrow. You will be in excellent hands. Please remember, walk, walk, walk & walk...if you get bored...walk. Remember, expect the worse, and hope for the best. If you are in pain after surgery, remember, this is pain with a purpose...In a couple short weeks, you'll be back to your old sassy self. I can't wait to see the new you on Thursday. Don't worry bout what you look like, I remember what I looked like. LOL :-) Officially, I am down 65 pounds at 3 months post-op and I am sure you will have the same success. Good Luck & God Bless...
