Hello Everyone my name is jennifer i am 32 years old i am a mother of 4 and i have been battling with weight since i got pregnant at the age of 16.
So i recently hit 400 lbs and decided to go for the gastric by pass, i spoke with my doctor and he said i would be the perfect candidate for the surgery because i had no health issues yet but if i didnt go im sure i would of ended up with health issues.
So my doc put a referal in and off on my journey i went to a new and happier,healthier me!!!
So in total it only took seven months from the first appt to my surgery date.
On October 7th 2009 i went for my surgery and i was home October 9th with no complications and im still going strong now and im down to 295.4 lbs and starting to feel good.
My family and friends have been my biggest supporters in all this , though some of my family were not to kean on me having the surgery they all love it now!!!
My children love it cause they have a new mom the obesity is all they have known me to be but now they see the new me and love it !!!
So there are no regrets from me if i had to do it over i would in a heart beat.
This is one of the best things i could ever do!!!
